Readiness Check

To help you prepare for a UKVI credibility interview and reduce your chances of a visa refusal, our UK Visa and Compliance Team conduct Readiness Checks. If you have been identified as requiring a Readiness Check, then you must attend one before your CAS can be issued.

It is important to note that if you do receive a visa refusal, any subsequent visa applications may also be at a higher risk of being refused.

Before completing your interview, we recommend that you look at our Readiness Check guidance to understand what to expect during the interview. Coming prepared to your first interview and securing your CAS will reduce the time between confirming your place on your course and applying for your visa allowing you to spend more time on getting excited to study abroad.

What happens next?

• You should have received an invitation to attend an interview via email, this will be sent to the Email ID we have on file
• If you wish to reschedule the interview date or time, you will find a unique link to do so within their invitation email
• After your interview, you will receive personalised feedback from our specialised team, which will flag any areas deemed to need developing.
• If you are successful, your agent or enrolment advisor will be contacted with next steps relating to any outstanding conditions for your CAS to be issued.
• If you fail, you may be offered a second interview to follow up on some answers that require further clarification. Please note that a second interview is offered at the discretion of Study Group, you may be given the option to defer to the next available intake or withdraw and receive a refund of your security deposit.
