English language preparation programme
Boost your English language skills
If you meet the academic entry requirements for one of our pathway programmes but would benefit from extra help with your English language skills, you can join our Online English Language Preparation programme. The programme has been expertly crafted to boost your English language skills while introducing you to essential academic and study skills before you join us on campus at the International Study Centre to begin your pathway programme.
Based on the level you require for your chosen pathway programme and your current ability, you will study a 16, 10 or 6-week English language programme. By studying the programme online, you will be in a virtual classroom with international students from across the world, with some studying at different International Study Centres.
Our online learning platform allows you to participate in interactive tasks and activities in addition to the live sessions taught by our expert tutors. This allows you to review and challenge yourself at a pace you are comfortable with, all from your own home or chosen study space.
Benefits of studying Online English Preparation
Our Online English Language programme is designed to boost your skills in writing, reading, speaking and listening while developing your confidence in communicating with your tutors and classmates in preparation for starting your chosen pathway programme.
There are a range of programme lengths available to suit your requirements and needs, with expert support and guidance provided by our dedicated tutors. No matter which length of study you require, our English language preparation programme will make sure you are ready to begin your chosen pathway programme at the International Study Centre.
At the end of the online course your English language level will be assessed to ensure that you meet the English language level requirements for your face-to-face academic programme. You are not required to take an additional UKVI Secure English Language Test (SELT) to obtain a student visa before you come to campus.
