The International Foundation Year in Animation, Games, and Visual Effects at Teesside University International Study Centre is a unique pathway programme designed for students looking to pursue a creative digital career.

Students on this programme will have the opportunity to study their undergraduate degree at either Teesside University in Middlesbrough in the brand new Digital Life building, opening in 2025, or the new Teesside University London campus.

Teesside University’s industry connections offer valuable networking opportunities, such as its annual Animex event. This event is a great opportunity for students to share their work with industry professionals, including a range of local and global creative businesses in the games, animation and visual effects industries.

Teesside’s graduates are working in major studios around the world. They have worked on feature films including "Spider-Man: Far From Home" and “Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi” and AAA games such as "Red Dead Redemption II" and “Horizon Zero Dawn”.
